JHE & Partners are working with a great client in the Halifax area as they look to strengthen their finance team by recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. This is a profitable and growing business that has a friendly, yet hard working, finance team. This role would primarily focus on the Sales Ledger whilst providing support to other aspects of finance including Credit Control and possibly assisting with Purchase Ledger during busy periods if required.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting up new customers on the system
- Credit checking new customers and applying credit limits as required
- Allocating incoming payments to correct customer accounts
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer issues
- Chasing overdue debts as required
- Handling customer queries
- Supporting the wider finance team as required
