JHE & Partners are pleased to be working with a reputable business in Brighouse as they look to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant. This opportunity will be working 2/3 days and is a great time to be joining the business as they look to grow.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an organised and dedicated individual with extensive experience working as an Accounts Assistant responsible for invoicing, Bookkeeping and Payroll. You will thrive working in a busy and diverse role. You will be reporting into an experienced and supportive Accounts Manager who values their team.
Duties include:
- Sales Ledger – Invoicing customers, maintaining customer records, creating new accounts
- Credit Control – Dealing with all aspects of credit control ensuring payments are received on time
- Purchase Ledger – Invoicing Suppliers, maintaining customer records and creating new supplier accounts.
- Invoicing – 30 a month
- Setting up suppliers on the system and processing payments
- Cash flow – working with senior management to ensure the smooth running of the business
- Banking – Allocating customer payments
- Expenses – Dealing with all company expenses, payments and reconciling on our accounts package
- Month end tasks which include – reconciling debtors/creditors
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Experience using Xero or similar
This is a very fast-paced role and would require someone from a strong background working in a general Accounts Assistant position. Hours of work are typically 22 hours but my client can be flexible for the right candidate. This is a superb opportunity working with a major business in Brighouse. Please apply without delay.
