JHE & Partners are working with a great business based in Halifax (commutable from Bradford) as they look to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis as their current accounts person retires. This is a stand alone finance position for a profitable business, working closely with the Managing Director which can be done over 4 days (flexible hours to suit). Operating on a Sage system, experience with Sage or an equivalent IT package is essential. This is a varied, hands on position and an opportunity to work with great people.
Key duties will include:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- Bank reconciliations
- Petty cash
- Payroll - 30 staff including both monthly and weekly via Sage
- General administration
- Answering the phone and dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Other ad hoc duties as required
