JHE & Partners are working with a great client in the Leeds area as they look to strengthen their finance team by recruiting an experienced Finance Assistant to join them on a 3-month temporary contract with the possibility of it becoming permanent. This is a profitable and growing business that has a friendly, yet hard working, finance team. This role is going to be a general Finance Assistant position so you will be expected to support different aspects of finance, with a particular emphasis on Purchase Ledger.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices, coding and inputting onto the finance system
- Handling supplier queries
- Enter supplier invoices, expenses and credit card statements
- Matching bank payments
- Provide weekly payment run proposals to the Financial Controller
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- General ad hoc duties as required
