JHE & Partners are working exclusively with a highly profitable global business who are recruiting an FP&A Business Partner on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity supporting the sales and commercial teams within the group with direct responsibility for 3 business units. It is essential you have a proven record of business partnering and pride yourself on building external relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Duties include:
- FP&A business partnering to influence activities, grow margins and manage risk
- Production of various key leadership level reports
- Distilling large volumes of data and presenting concise reporting and analysis back to the business
- Review of monthly performance, providing commentary and direction for the commercial teams
- Weekly update and analysis of rolling 3-month forecasts
- Supporting annual budget process
- Review of customer credit limits and terms with a view to reduce working capital while maintaining a good margin
- Using your own initiative to generate new reporting/analysis to help grow the business
- Other ad-hoc duties to include support for the Senior FP&A Manager in other FP&A matters
- Willingness to travel to other sites once a month, both within UK and Europe.
This is an exciting and fast-paced role where you'll pride yourself on taking leadership and utilising your finance skills. As a valued business partner, you'll have natural flair to think outside the box and have the commercial acumen to interpret and analyse data feeding back to the group.
Advanced Excel is a must for this role in addition to ERP exposure. Business partnering and relationship building is also key.
