JHE & Partners are working with a growing and profitable business in Keighley who are looking for a management accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting in to the financial controller, you will be a strong management accountant ideally with manufacturing experience working in a busy and cohesive finance team. You might be a part qualified accountant or a qualified by experience accountant looking for that next challenge. Either way you're encouraged to apply. You will previously had some experience of supervising or mentoring a small team and work comfortably with senior management.
Duties include:
- Produce the monthly management accounts for review by the FC.
- Provide full Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain all aspects of stock relating to the management accounts including GRNI, adjustments & provisions.
- Maintain both supplier and customer rebates.
- Maintain and update the control accounts, including the calculation of accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain the vehicle registers and any associated costs.
- Manage the day-to-day processing of trade loans and import payments.
- Support and mentor the purchase ledger team effectively.
- Implement a consistent appraisal programme, monitoring shortfalls in performance and taking the required action where applicable.
- Prepare and submit the annual P11D submissions.
- Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist with the year-end audit
