JHE & Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering a thriving Brighouse business who are recruiting a purchase ledger clerk on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with solid ledger experience working for an established business across the UK.
Reporting to the purchase ledger manager, you will work as part of a small purchase ledger team of 5, working on a shared ledger. This is a fast-paced role where you'll very much be able to make this your own. Meeting deadlines is key as well as prioritising work loads as you may be multi-tasking duties occasionally.
Duties include:
- Responsibility for managing assigned supplier accounts and developing good working relationships
- Ensuring that all queries are resolved and escalating issues to the correct department
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with weekly supplier payment runs
- Assisting with weekly Work In Progress reviews
- Chasing supplier invoices
- Taking inbound calls for accounts
- Adhoc tasks as required
This is a permanent, full time position and office based, to start as soon as possible.
Salary on offer is £20,000 - £25,000 + workplace pension, Health Care Package. 30 days holiday plus bank holidays
