JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a superb business in Bingley who are looking to recruit a sales ledger / accounts clerk on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the finance manager and working in a small team of 3 in finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely collections and processing for a number of subsidiary businesses within the group.
Duties include:
- End-to-end sales ledger management for a number of companies within the group
- Setting up new businesses on Xero
- Raise invoices and booking onto the ledger
- Manage sales invoice forecast
- Reconciling the sales ledger
- Issuing rebates
- Deal with an array of queries over email and phone
- Ensuring VAT has been included on invoices
- Chasing outstanding monies owed
- Assisting with other ad hoc duties within the small finance framework
You must be a good team player with effective communication skills. You will be a self starter with the ability to think outside the box. This is a highly important role within the company and at times there is a great deal of autonomy required. Due to acquisitions in place, this role will constantly evolve, therefore someone looking for added variety is encouraged to apply for this role. Salary on offer will pay up to £30,000
