JHE & Partners are delighted to working with a local Shipley business who are looking to recruit a payroller on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity working in a successful and ever-growing business where you will have full autonomy overseeing the company payroll.
You will be an experienced payroller, used to multi-tasking in a busy environment. Ideally, you will have experience overseeing multiple payrolls and manage any queries efficiently. This is a rewarding role where you will have carte blanch to implement your own ideas to streamline their current payroll procedures.
Duties include:
- Overseeing a processing three different payrolls for 130 salaried staff and 8 weekly staff
- Processing and calculating SMP, SSP and holiday allowance
- Calculating all overtime and processing all bonuses
- Issuing P45s and P60s
- Dealing with any payroll queries efficiently
- Deducting all tax and NI calculations
- Keeping up to date with all payroll legislation accordingly
- Making HMRC contributions as and when required
You must have a proficient level of payroll experience to be considered for this role, ideally within an SME. Salary on offer is paying between £25,000-£35,000 depending on experience. Please apply without delay to avoid any disappointment.
