
JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with an engineering company in the Keighley district who are looking for a finance assistant on a permanent basis. Reporting in to the finance manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a conscientious candidate to join an award winning business.
Working in a small finance team, you will have plenty of exposure to the transactional finance function whilst assisting the finance manager in some month-end duties and reporting. Please note, this role is fully office-based.
Duties include:
- Posting supplier invoices to the correct nominal codes
- Posting and reconciling credit card transactions
- Posting employees mileage ad expenses.
- Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.
- Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance manager
- Credit control - chasing outstanding monies owed to the business via phone and email
- Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
- Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients
- Assist the financial manager in creating financial reports on a regular basis
- Deal with multi-currency transactions

Salary on offer will pay between £28,000 - £30,000 with 25 days holiday, standard pension and free parking.
