
JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a brilliant company in Halifax as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The company have grown significantly over the last few years and with exciting plans for the future, they are now looking to strengthen their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with recent finance experience, looking to secure a role that will offer study support and career progression. Most importantly, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a whole range of finance duties, specifically focussing on the Management Accounts and month end reporting. Key duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts pack
- Prepare and input journals
- Accruals and prepayments
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Analyse aged debt and credit reports
- Assist with the external audit, VAT and other compliance tasks
- Other ad hoc finance duties as required
Applicants will have good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, and a desire to build on their existing experience. Study support will be provided for a professional accountancy qualification as well as a competitive salary and benefits package including annual bonus.
