Credit Controller – Leeds
Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 per annum

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a reputable and long-established business based in Leeds as they look to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their growing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented individual with a solid background in credit control and debt recovery. You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced team, responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong working relationships to minimise outstanding debt.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts
· Chase overdue payments and reduce aged debt
· Liaise with internal departments and external clients to resolve queries efficiently
· Monitor and report on debtor balances
· Support billing processes and ensure accuracy of invoices
· Work collaboratively within the credit control team to meet cash collection targets
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit control
· Strong track record in debt collection
· Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to handle complex queries and resolve issues independently
· Previous billing experience
· Resilient, proactive, and able to build strong client relationships
· SAP experience is desirable, but not essential
