
JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with an established Bradford business who are looking for a credit controller on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity working as part of a small credit team, overseeing all areas of the credit function. The company operates a hybrid working system - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Reporting into the credit manager and working as an integral cog is a lovely and very close-knit team, the chosen candidate will ideally possess at least one year's credit control experience. The role requires someone with good credit control skills showcasing a natural aptitude in building working relations with both sales and business development teams and external customers.
Duties include:
- Effectively chasing and collecting of monies owed via telephone and email
- Building strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Dealing with an array if queries in relation to invoicing and other credit anomalies
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Working with external team maximising collections
- Assisting with audit requirements
- Assisting with the production of debtor reports
- Setting up and maintaining customer files
