We are seeking a highly organised and committed individual with strong experience in a Finance Assistant role or similar. The successful candidate will bring at least 2–3 years’ experience across both Sales and Purchase Ledger, with a solid grounding in transactional finance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a Finance Assistant or similar position
- Hands-on experience across Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Completing daily bank reconciliations, including multi-currency accounts
- Managing credit control, cash allocation and producing weekly debtor reports
- Working closely with the Finance Manager on both debtor and creditor management
- Handling purchase ledger tasks and responding to supplier queries
- Providing support to the sales ledger function
- Preparing VAT returns
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Assisting with facilities management as required
This is a varied role within a small, collaborative finance team, requiring someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage a broad range of finance tasks.

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
