JHE & Partners are working with a superb brand in Skipton, who are looking for a finance manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Having recorded very impressive growth over the past 5 years, this is an exciting time to join a business that is continuing to expand its global presence. This cash-rich business is looking for an experienced accounts professional that can drive forward with business as they embark on their next exciting chapter.
Reporting into the Group FC, the role is working as part of a wider team of 4 in finance. Although there are no out-and-out managerial responsibilities, it would be beneficial having previous experience of mentoring or being a point of contact as a senior head in the finance team. The role entails a hybrid workload of both transactional and month-end management accounting coupled with cashflow forecasting for various sites within the group. Ideally, you will by systems savvy and relish working on different systems, producing valuable MI for the senior leadership team.
Duties include:
- Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of the annual budget, development and setting of company performance management targets, KPIs and scorecards.
- Prepare the monthly financial statements including balance sheet, cashflow, profit and loss, funds flow statements and the monthly management report.
- Oversee the UK and EU accounts, including prepayments, accruals, forecasting and planning
- Analysis and review of company cost management performance to include an appraisal of performance against budget
- Keep up-to-date on financial standards and monitor changes in legislation and law, evaluate impact on the company.
- Recommend, design, implement and maintain any necessary cost controls across the company.
- Maintain and develop the company's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets.
- Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders, collating necessary information and presenting accordingly
Applicants will have experience developing financial systems, including budget setting and must be familiar with the production of financial statements. Applicant will ideally be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, however candidates qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.

Salary on offer is between £40,000 - £50,000 with benefits including 2 days working from home.
