
JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a fantastic business near Skipton as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager, confident leading a team whilst being in a hands on accounting role. With scope for longer term progression, this is a superb opportunity for the right candidate to improve processes, develop the team and create a varied and interesting role within the business.
Key duties will include:
- Producing and reporting on monthly management accounts pack
- Production of ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior leadership team
- Involvement in group budget process
- Compiling VAT and intrastat reports
- Overseeing banking (multiple currencies)
- Management of the finance team which includes transactional staff, part qualified and qualified by experience accountants
- Other ad hoc duties related to the financial management of the company
Applicants will hold a professional accountancy qualification or demonstrate recent experience in a similar role at this level. Advanced Excel skills are required along with the ability to produce reports and present them in a clear and concise manner.
