Purchase Ledger - 3 month temporary - Halifax

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a long term client as they look to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a 3 month temporary basis covering maternity - there is chance it could get extended however, no guarantees. This position is 25-30 hours a week.

The company are doing well and they have a stable and friendly finance team based in their Elland head office. This is a key role managing high volumes of invoices, so it is essential that applicants have recent purchase ledger experience.

Key duties will include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Distribute invoices for signatures
  • Process invoices
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Cash
  • Manage payment to suppliers
  • Post cash paid out on a daily basis
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
