JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a highly successful company in Halifax as they continue their rapid growth. They are looking to strengthen their finance function with the addition of a Senior Accounts Assistant. This is a permanent role, giving the successful applicant an opportunity to be part of the long term success of this business. It is a fantastic company to work for with a great culture, particularly in the finance team. Key duties will include:
- Full responsibility for Purchase Ledger
- Handling supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Creating payment runs and working with senior management to process payments
- Full sales ledger responsibilities
- Invoicing customers
- Sending POD’s and copy invoices as required
- Allocating incoming payments
- Chasing aged debts as required
- Liaising with Senior Management regarding key customers, overdue accounts etc.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Assist with VAT returns
- Other ad hoc duties within a busy finance team
